| Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Folks singing carols for all to hear Sounds of the season are filling the air At home colored lights are aglow everywhere; Children all bundled wrapped up running about Riding their sleds with great joy they all shout Rolling the snow into a great ball Building a snowman with hat nose and all; Time of the season is too short I fear We should spend it with loved ones that we help so dear Sing all the songs and spread the good cheer For Christmas comes once every year. Having a jolly good time filled with fun Sharing of presents with all our loved ones Gifts for the children, lots of great toys Dolls for the girls, trucks and cars for the boys. What a great feeling to be of good cheer Cling to this feeling throughout all the year Showing our love and goodwill towards all men To have peace on earth wouldn't that be just grand.
