When Sleeping In Bed I'm Dreaming Of You

When sleeping in bed, I’m dreaming of you
At every waking moment, in everything I do;
Why do I have to be alone each day,
And if you knew, what would you say?

My heart breaks in pieces when I’m not with you,
And I think to myself, what didn’t I do?
I wish I could somehow turn back the time,
And relive one second while the sun still shines.

I wish no one ever had to know
My feeling of pain from my head to my toe;
As if someone ripped your heart out and tears it into,
While sitting back and watching, is all you can do.

In my dreams you say the words I longed to hear
And when I look into your eyes, I know you’re sincere;
So I’ll see you later, when the day is through
When sleeping in bed, I’m dreaming of you.
