| When God Calls Me Home Written by Raymond Lee Peltier ©2006 |

| Many trials I’ve encountered here on earth are at times hard to bear. I’ve even considered the possibility that my God is not fair; And although I am weak, and God is loving and strong I also know my time on earth will not be too long. I sometimes fear the time when God calls me to go Because there are so many things about death I really don’t know; But I know when I eventually leave this earth I’ll be with Him By then my fear of death will have been very dim. A bright new future awaits me An eternity with my Savior, His body I’ll see; My faith in Jesus will carry me through death’s open door Then all of earth’s pain, fear, and sorrow…I’ll know no more. When God in His wisdom sounds the call for me to come home I’ll thank Him for allowing me to be here never more to roam; And when I walk through death’s door holding my Savior’s hand I will join the Great Jehovah, in the joyous promised land. |
