Today I turned some old love letters with words that say you love me true.
Tomorrow you will wed another, you tore my broken heart into.
We've pledged our love to each other and vowed to never be apart.
Tonight another man's arms will be wrapped around you.
And tomorrow you will say "I do."

Today, I'm burning your old love letters
The ones that said you would be true;
Tomorrow you will wed another
And say you will always love him too.

A part of you is always with me
Tomorrow you will set me free;
The love we had and shared together
You'll nevermore belong to me.

Today I burn some old love letters
Words that say I love you too;
Tonight another man's arms will hold you
Tomorrow you will say "I do."
