Fly away, fly away special friend
For you himself the Lord did send:
He needed your kind and happy face
To brighten up His most holy place.

I miss you my friend, I really do
Who will cheer me up when I am blue?
In my heart your memory I will cherish
Until from this earth I do perish.

Your friendship will forever stay in my heart
Even though we are so far apart;
You had a special way, I don’t doubt
To bring everyone’s best side out.

Guide us, advise us, from where you are
Your in my thoughts near and far;
Shine down on those you love
Sprinkle angel dust from Heaven above.

A special gift is what you had
To make us smile and that wasn’t bad;
Rest now special friend, pain no more
Go in peace through Heaven’s open door.
