Golden Wings Of Time
While sitting in my rocking-chair,
I loved to play with my teddybear;
I've always treasured it as my only prize,
Between my tears and all my sighs.

I always hugged it to my heart,
Not wanting ever to depart;
And when my mother saw me stare,
She always saw me with my teddybear.

A picture was hung upon my wall,
That was the best among them all;
It was placed above my rocking-chair,
A picture of my teddybear.

Although I'm older I still think of him now,
With a quivering breath and a throbbing brow;
I now no longer have my rocking-chair,
Or my little best friend who was my teddybear.
