Life's Journey

When we travel life's journey in total darkness,
Without benefit of a guiding light;
We knew not yet God's living waters,
Needed for healing of our spiritual sight.

The day the Spirit called us to accept Him,
To be numbered among His faithful heirs;
Predestined from before the birth of the world,
Upon Him casting all our cares.

Are you ready to give your life to Him?
Are you open to joy and love?
Now you've found what you came here searching for,
Eternal grace from our Father above.

When we take a wrong turn falling short of His Way,
Offending the one who paid our price;
Knowing He's faithful and just to forgive us our sin,
He washes us, turning us back to His loving face.

When we see Him face to face,
On clouds of glory on high;
Our glorification realized thanks to His loving grace,
Life's journey was truly worthwhile.
