| Jesus Came From Above Written by Raymond Lee Peltier ©1993 |

| Through this world of sin and strife, Jesus gave His only life; Oh, yes He gave His only life for you and me. And He died upon that cross, So we would not be lost, Yes, He died upon that cross at Calvary. Oh, that cross was a load, That He carried up the road; Yes, He carried up that road to Calvary. And that cross was made of wood, So they nailed Him to it good, Yes, they nailed Him to that cross, for you and me. In the Scriptures it is said, He arose from the dead; Yes, He arose from the dead, for you and me. So after all is said and done, Jesus is the only one, Yes, He’s the only one who could die and set us free. Oh, Jesus came from above, To show us His great love; Yes, He came from above to set us free. And He died upon that cross, So we would not be lost, Yes, He died upon that cross, and now we’re free. |
