He Ye, Hear Ye, Come One Come All

“Hear Ye, Hear Ye, come one come all,
It’s time for Santa’s Christmas Eve Ball!”
All of his helpers, both big and small,
Are cordially invited to come to the ball.

Put on your best duds and be of good cheer,
For this event happens only once a year;
Those who can‘t come will wish they were here
Adults can drink eggnog, kids ride a reindeer!

And as the festivities draw to a close
All door prizes given wrapped up with red bows;
Santa Clause smiles, gives a tweak to his nose
Jumps in his sleigh and up..up..he goes!

Then all of Santa’s helpers, both big and small
Each child with their own little trinket or doll;
Go back to their homes to await next year’s call
“Hear Ye, Hear Ye, come one come all!”
