I sing this song for no reason at all
No special day between us, no Spring, no Fall;
While waters flow freely and the trees grow tall
I just wanted to sing to you for no reason at all.

For no reason at all, I guess it’s all true
I guess it’s your beauty, just because I love you;
Or probably because we’re together, I know we’ll never fall
I am now beginning to see it’s not for no reason at all.

It could be because I need you every night and day.
It could be because you’re in my soul in every way.
It could be the alignment of the planets, or the way a river flows.
Or, it could be God guiding us when we’re out of control.

But, no reason at all, I doubt that is the reason
It’s because our growing love is constantly in season;
I guess I just needed an excuse so in my mind your memory could crawl
And I would sing “I Love You” once more…just for no reason at all.
