| Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Home with colored lights glowing everywhere; People singing Christmas songs for all to hear Sounds of music filling the air. Little children wrapped up and running about Building snowmen with its hat and all; Riding their sleds with joy they give a shout Rolling the snow into a great ball. Sharing gifts with all our loved ones And for the children lots of toys; Having a jolly good time filled with lots of fun Dolls for the girls, trucks and cars for all the boys. How wonderful it is to be of good cheer Offering peace on earth, good well towards man; And cling to this feeling throughout the year Showing our love wouldn't’t that be grand. So let’s hang on to what little time we have And spend it with our loved ones we hold so dear; Sing the songs and give good cheer For Christmas won’t be here again, until next year. |
